Kansas Farmers Union will host a tour of USDA GIPSA National Grain Center (9am), the Kansas City Board of Trade trading floor (12:30pm), and EPA Region 7 Science and Technology Center (2pm).

June 3-9: Hemp History Week

The 4th annual Hemp History Week, June 3-9, 2013, is an industry-wide project initiated by the Hemp Industries Association and Vote Hemp, involving hundreds of hemp manufacturers, farmers, activists, volunteers and retailers. For more information, visit hemphistoryweek.com .

June 12-13: American Agriculture Movement Reunion

American Museum of Agriculture in Lubbock, Texas, is hosting a reunion of AAM participants and their families to capture their stories for future generations. It’s an amazing piece of agricultural and American democracy history, and the story should be preserved. For more information, visit agriculturehistory.org.



August 10-11: Heartland Farm Tour

Kansas Farmers Union will host a tour of Heartland Farm near Pawnee Rock. On Saturday night, the Farm is holding a Stargazing event with a cookout and live music. The tour will also include some attractions in the Larned area. Overnight accomodations are available at the farm, but are limited. All are welcome. More details to come.
