MCPHERSON, KS - Kansas Farmers Union (KFU) congratulates United States Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) on his recent appointment to serve on the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry.
"Senator Moran has been a longtime supporter of Kansas and American agriculture," said KFU President Donn Teske. "From his time in the Kansas Legislature, the U.S. House of Representatives, and for the last 14 years in the U.S. Senate, he has consistently put agriculture and rural Kansas at the top of his priority list. We congratulate him on his appointment to the Senate Agriculture Committee and look forward to working with him and his staff to address the issues facing America's farmers, ranchers, rural citizens, and consumers."
