Our Team
We work for you.

We farm. Most staff are involved in ag enterprises–from cattle, milo, or soybeans to specialty crops like carrots and cucumbers. This brings real world knowledge of livestock, crop and produce production to our work with you at Kansas Farmers Union.
We serve. Staff are on the boards of numerous local, regional, statewide, and even international organizations such as Kansas Grazing Lands Coalition, Kansas SARE Advisory Council, Glacial Hills RC&D, the Institute for Agriculture and Trade Policy, the Kansas Graziers Association, and Smoky Hills Public Television. These opportunities deepen our understanding of the diverse opportunities and challenges of Kansas agriculture and our rural communities.
We get out and about. You’ll regularly find us traveling the state, speaking and exhibiting at ag and rural events. Through these activities, we build new collaborations, strengthen existing partnerships and gain inspiration that informs our work with you at KFU. We often meet amazing folks that end up sharing their farms, research, and lives with you at our own events.
We listen. KFU policy and programs are the direct result of your priorities. Whether it be KFU’s work with beginning farmers and farm transition or our efforts to strengthen and diversify Kansas’ food systems, you’ve shared with us what you need, and we’ve explored the opportunities.
